AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Alpha Gamma Rho Winter Bonanza Endowed Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, will be awarded to one 12th grade student who is exhibiting in the 2024 OYE and will be attending Oklahoma State University. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, Winter Bonanza participation, and junior agriculture program participation.

BancFirst will offer a $2,500 Educational Scholarship to a 12th grade student who is exhibiting in the 2024 OYE and will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

Cameron University will offer two $3,000 tuition waver scholarships to two students entering Cameron immediately following graduation in the fall of 2024. Students must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours) each semester to receive the award. Funds will be awarded during the students’ first two years at CU – $1,500 each year divided equally between the fall and spring semesters.

The Chickasaw Nation will offer three $2,500 Educational Scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Eligible candidates must have a Chickasaw Nation CDIB Card and a Chickasaw Nation Membership Card. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

(In Memory of Clay Reuter, El Reno FFA Member) The Clay Reuter Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $1,500, will be awarded to one 12th grade student exhibiting at the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

Connors College will offer two Full-Tuition Educational Scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 Oklahoma Youth Expo. Eligible candidates must attend Connors State College in the fall of 2024.

(In honor of Ernest Davis and Mike Stephens) The Davis-Stephens Endowed Scholarship, in the amount of $2,500, will be awarded to one 12th grade student who is exhibiting in the 2024 OYE and will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

The sparkling ladies of the Diamond Hats will offer two $1,000 Educational Scholarships to 12th grade female students exhibiting at the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

Eastern Oklahoma State College will offer two Full-Tuition Education Scholarships to high school seniors exhibiting at OYE. Eligible candidates must attend Eastern Oklahoma State College in the Fall of 2024 and major in Agriculture. Scholarship is contingent on recipient maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

** Academic All-State Scholarship **

Express Ranches will offer four $5,000 Educational Scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution.

(In Memory of Ted Fariss) The Oklahoma Youth Expo will award a $1,000 Educational Scholarship to a 12th grade student exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. The scholarship will be awarded in memory of Ted Fariss, long-time supporter of OYE and Oklahoma’s youth in agriculture.

Available to one student in the following counties: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc. The scholarship shall be in the amount of $2,500

The Bill Luce Endowed Scholarship, in the amount of $2,500, will be awarded to one 12th grade student exhibiting swine in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation. In order to receive the Bill Luce Endowed Scholarship, the student MUST have current PQA certification in PQA Plus.

Martindale Feed Mill will offer a $2,500 Educational Scholarship to a 12th grade student from within the Martindale Feeds trade area who is exhibiting in the 2024 OYE and will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

(In Memory of Mark McGee) Mark McGee, former agricultural education teacher, FFA advisor and professional rodeo announcer from Valliant, OK, tragically lost his life from a drunk driver. His wife is employed at Idabel Public Schools and their son, Colby, is an FFA advisor at Smithville High School. Mark was a graduate of Eastern Oklahoma State College and Oklahoma State University. This scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a 12th grade student who has been actively involved in FFA and 4-H and will attend EOSC in the fall of 2024. The recipient must major in Agriculture Education at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Preference will be given to students residing in Southeast Oklahoma.

Murray State College will offer two Full-Tuition Educational Scholarship to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 Oklahoma Youth Expo. This scholarship would waive up to 16 credit hours per semester, for up to four semesters, at the MSC Tishomingo tuition rate for one student per academic year in the fall of 2024. The tuition wavier is contingent on the recipient maintaining a 2.5 GPA. The tuition waiver will be available to any full time Murray State College student majoring in Agriculture, Conservation or Wildlife Resources, or Veterinary Technology.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University will offer two, $3,000 tuition waiver scholarships to senior high school students exhibiting in the 2024 Oklahoma Youth Expo. Eligible candidates must attend NWOSU beginning in the fall of 2024, be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit-hours minimum), and be pursuing a degree in Agricultural Education or Agriculture. Each recipient will receive their award in equal amounts ($1,500 / semester) during their first two semesters.

Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives will offer two $1,250 Educational Scholarship to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation.

The Oklahoma Pork Council will offer two $1,000 Educational Scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation. In order to receive an Oklahoma Pork Council Scholarship, the student MUST have current PQA certification in PQA Plus.

** Academic All-State Scholarship **

Oklahoma State University will offer two $5,000 Educational Scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting in the 2024 OYE who will be attending Oklahoma State University. The recipients will receive $2,500 per year for two years. Students must attend Oklahoma State University to be eligible for this scholarship.

Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture will award two $1,000 scholarships to 12th grade students who are exhibiting in the 2024 OYE. Students must attend Oklahoma State University in both the Fall 2024 and Spring 2024 semesters and pursue a major in agriculture.

OSU-OKC will award a President’s Leadership Scholarship to two OYE participants who choose to attend OSU-OKC starting the Fall 2024 term. The President’s Leadership Scholarship at OSU-OKC recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated talent and distinguished achievement in the areas of leadership, citizenship, service and communication. The scholarship is comprised of a full-tuition waiver for up to 15 credit hours each fall and spring semester, including fees and a $500 book stipend.

Social Attraction, a creative marketing agency, will offer two $1,500 scholarships to a 12th grade student exhibiting at the 2024 Oklahoma Youth Expo, who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation. Preference will be given to students residing in Silo and Haworth.

Southeastern Oklahoma State University will offer a tuition waiver the value of the tuition waiver is $5,000.00. Tuition waivers are non-cash awards and will not be applied to enrollment fees or any other educational expenses. One fourth of the total amount ($1,250.00) will be applied to your tuition for the fall 2024 semester. The remaining amount will be applied to the next three consecutive semesters ($1,250 per semester). To receive the award, you must meet or exceed full-time enrollment requirements (12 semester hours) each semester and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Students must attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University to be eligible for this scholarship.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University will offer one $5,000 educational scholarship to one 12th grade student exhibiting at the 2024 OYE who will be attending SWOSU in the fall of 2024.

** Academic All-State Scholarship **

The Justin Whitefield Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, will be awarded to one 12th grade student exhibiting at the 2024 OYE who will be attending Oklahoma State University. Students will be evaluated on: academics, community involvement, and junior agriculture program participation. The Justin Whitefield Memorial Scholarship is endowed at the OSU Foundation, thanks to Touchstone Energy and OYE.

The Wild Bunch Scholarship, in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded to one 12th grade student exhibiting swine in the 2024 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution. The Wild Bunch Scholarship will be given in memory of Red Goodson.
