Sparkle Brighter Than Ever

Diamond Hats expecting record attendance at the 2019 annual gala.

The Diamond Hats annual gala is setting the stage to be the largest attended event in the organization’s history, which is set to be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.

With each year, the gala continues to grow in attendees, donations and financial contributions, which helps the Diamond Hats organization support additional exhibitors at the Oklahoma Youth Expo.

Diamond Hats president, Tammi Didlot says, the continued growth and success of the gala is a testament to the ladies of the Diamond Hats and their goal to help support Oklahoma’s ag youth.

“It is so exciting to see our attendance just continue to grow and grow,” Didlot said. “The impact of this growth has significant meaning first to the guests, because they are helping contribute to a very worthwhile cause, and second, to the exhibitors who make the OYE Sale of Champions, to the scholarship recipients and to those who partake in our 4-H and FFA Jacket program will reap the largest benefit to this growth as the direct benefactors of all we raise.”

When the Diamond Hats started the mission was to raise $20,000 to contribute to the exhibitors at the Sale of Champions, last year we contributed more than $90,000, she said.

  • “Guests can expect to have a really good meal, be able to bid on some awesome auction items and have a fun evening with great entertainment in a beautiful venue,” Didlot said. “It’s kind of like date night with hundreds of your closest friends!”
