Not only is this a wise saying to apply to our life, but it’s directly applicable to this time, this show season. 

It is not unusual for the Oklahoma Youth Expo to mark the end of spring show season for many, so the act of being present is more important now than ever. 

This show, these moments, these memories, are some you will never get back. And they are also the memories you will carry with you far after your time in the showring has come to an end. 

Looking to the future, do not be afraid to say ‘yes’ to new opportunities. Go out of the way to extend kindness to a stranger, and make new friends. Put yourself out of your comfort zone, and try a new contest. Win humbly, and know that losing graciously is equally important. Take it all in, and do your very best.
